Welcome to the Visa Section at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Islamabad. Here we receive and process approximately 3000 applications for visas during the year, in addition to receiving over 1200 applications for work- and residence permits. The Norwegian Immigration Authorities are introducing a new Immigration Act and new regulations from January 1st 2009. This will lead to some changes for our applicants. In the transition period there will also be some consequences to our case handling times.

Photos - Quality Requirements

Documentation of subsistence

For applications for residence permits lodged after 23.10.2009 that are not handled by 01.01.2010 the subsistence requirements mentioned in the attached link will apply.
