What fee should I pay?

The Embassy of Norway is charging handling fee in order to process the following types of visa applications. The exchange rates have been updated with effect from June 15th 2011.

The Embassy of Norway is charging handling fee in order to process the following types of visa applications. Visa fee does not vary according to length of stay or number of entries:

* Visa fee is 60 EURO, which is equal to 7.300,-rupees, for an application for visit visa (How much 60,-EURO is in rupees vary according to the present exchange rate. The Embassy may therefore change the sum in Rupees without prior notice).

** A visa for multiple entries will only be granted to travellers with previous Schengen visas given by this embassy.

*** There are some excemptions to who needs to pay the application fee for an entry visa. As a general rule, you must pay the application fee unless you have applied for another permit already and paid a fee for this.

**** Visa fee for children aged 6-12 of 35,- EURO equals 4.300,- Rupees

When the application is registered online at https://selfservice.udi.no the correct fee will have to be paid by Visa- or MasterCard. The fee must be paid before the submission of visa application into the Royal Norwegian Embassy's bank Account No: 02941-20, in Habib Bank, near Shell Service Station, F-6 Markaz, Super market, Islamabad.

Habib Bank allows for online services, and the Embassy therefore recomend that you contact your local branch in order to pay the requested fee there.

The following category of applicants does not have to pay the application fee:

- Children under the age of six.

- Students or pupils and their teachers when they are going to visit for study- or other educational purposes.

- Family members of EEA citizens of another country when visiting another Shengen country than the sponsors home country
