A chilly autumn evening was suddenly filled with music from near and a far as musicians from Pakistan, India and Norway entered the stage in Oslo. For the nearly 500 guests the performance turned out to be a colourful journey of music and dance with stop-overs in Karachi, Lahore, Mumbai, Kautokeino and Furuset! The Norwegian Radio Orchestra (Kringkastingsorkesteret, KORK) played film music from both Lollywood and Bollywood, while the tradtional qawwali singer Sher Miandad Khan sang with the band Transjoik. The famous pop band Fuzon took it even further and were later joined by the Norwegian-Pakistani star Samsaya. A musical night to remember!
