To provide a better and more efficient case handling for our applicants, the Visa Section has made some adjustments in the organizing of the office hours.
With effect from 1 April 2008 the Embassy require applicants to lodge their visa applications on Mondays and Wednesdays between 0800 and 1200 hours.
Visa endorsement will take place between 0800 and 1400 hours Mondays and Wednesdays. Passports with endorsed visa will be returned between 1400 and 1530.
Family reunification applications and other residence permits must be lodged on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 0800 and 1400 hours.
Also the visa section will have designated phone hours Mondays to Thursdays between 1200 and 1400 hours. On Fridays the phone hours are between 1000 to 1500 hours.
All applicants must submit complete application forms and required documents upon lodging the application. If documents are missing it is the applicants/references responsibility to send the missing documentation to the Embassy within 2 weeks.
If documents are not received within 2 weeks the Embassy will deal with the visa cases based on the available documentation. In family reunification and other resident permit cases the cases will then be sent to the Directorate of Immigration.
We ask that all applicants fill out the requested forms relevant to their application before coming to the Embassy.
